SSLT 

SSLT 2024-25

As a group of individuals, we are extremely grateful for the opportunity we have been given as members of the Student Senior Leadership Team (SSLT) to help improve our school and are ready to consider suggestions and implement new ideas. We will be bridging the communication gap between students and teachers and are looking forward to an exciting year ahead.    

Our initial goals this year are: 

• To begin publishing a school newsletter written for students by students.
• To promote charity fundraising through house competitions, as well as promoting our food bank donations.
• To develop the existing student leadership model within Ash Manor to have clearer roles and communication.
• To model gratitude by writing personalised letters to members of staff who have taught at Ash Manor for a significant number of years.
• To support the training of student librarians who will help run our LRC.

Our Student Leadership Model at Ash Manor School is made up of:

• The Student Senior Leadership Team - nine members of year 11
• Student Heads of House - one year 10 student per House
• Tutor Representatives - one per Tutor Group
• Subject Ambassadors - across all year groups
• Peer Mentors - across years 9 and 10 (to be trained this year)
