The Bridge
At Ash Manor School, we believe that emotional literacy and wellbeing support are vital components of our education provision and play a pivotal role in ensuring each of our students thrive and go on to achieve their potential.
In addition to our comprehensive PSHE curriculum, extensive extra-curricular timetable and pastoral team, we are fortunate to have a dedicated wellbeing support area, called ‘The Bridge’; this is available daily to all students who may need it.
The Bridge team provides 1:1 and group interventions, and regular and ad-hoc support to students faced with a variety of emotional challenges. These include, but are not limited to:
Anxiety
Anger
Bereavement
Emotionally based school non-attendance (EBSNA)
Exam stress
Low mood
Self-harm
Sleep difficulties
Trauma
Our Bridge staff are appropriately mental health trained and can provide interventions in several areas:

Mentor Check-ins
